Me, myself and I…

Yup, it’s me. Last year attending a cup in Stockholm me and my fellow blood bowl friends came up with the idea of creating ourselves as star players. We’re such a down to earth couple of nerds… Anyway, since I’m quite tall guy and a teacher with a hang up for Hawaii shirts this old Frankenstein model suited quite well. Notice the physical computations in his hand. And at last, my last name is Grip so Mr Grip sounded like a cool name for a flesh golem star player 🙂

About to complete…

… My super star level black orc Oggun. Finally he has reached 76 star player points earned his star status. I’ve finished the details on the model but the base is obviously not ready. I hope to have some time for this tomorrow. It really nice to paint something with more than one layer again 🙂

Black orc starplayer

I have a black orc blocker approaching star player status. This means he needs a new model. I found these kings of war trolls which looks much like a bigger version of the savage orcs. I had to modify it a bit but I’m not sure about the crown. I noticed I’m out of green stuff so I have some time considering it!

Volley gun /rocket battery and Voodorcs starplayer

This weekend I’m taking a trip to my hometown. They’ve got a pretty decent wargames store here which I of course supported directly 🙂 I got my hands on a volley gun /rocket battery kit and an engineer. I found it was possible to have both the option of the VG and the RB with just switching the top of the piece. I’ll mostly choose the VG I think but it’s worth having the option. I’ve got some kings of war trolls as well very suitable for my black orc starplayers. They have very similar bodies to my savage orc based Voodorcs so a larger 76+ starplayer point version of my upcoming black orc starplayer will be ready when it’s needed.
