Zombies in the Underhive

I made a new video recording of the current state of the underhive. I need more levels! I won’t be satisfied until it reaches the ceiling πŸ™‚

Sorry for the shaky camera!

  1. Okay so here I went and posted a stock imperial sector being pretty pleased with myself until this came out πŸ˜€ mate this is pretty much how I’d imagine the underhive actually looks. The only thing I could think of to add to this is a toxic lake, ratskin village and the entry point from the upper levels so the spyrers can have some sport.

  2. Wow, just wow this is the necromunder table I’ve always dreamed of. I love how you’ve got the levels to work seamlessly and the attention to detail it inspired. The xenos out line made me chuckle and the shops and gang boss hut are brilliant.

  3. Owww, now I would drop my other projects just to start again with necromunda scenery xD
One day you will have to show us a couple of pics of the whole table (with a person by it’s side to notice the size!)

  4. Man, I’ve been following you for a while already and I’m sure I’m not the only one to consider yours to be the best Necromunda terrain on Terra. You’ve posted the first four tiles in the ‘how to’ section β€” is there any chance you’ll showcase the other tiles separately?
    PS. Wow!

      • Thanks for swift reply. Also I didn’t mention that but I’m astonished by, love and envy your perfect mix of realism, dark grim, unique ideas (like sub- and upper levels), DIY, balance of labour/result, playability, variability, inspiration, passion and a hoard of other goodness impossible to put in one thought :O
Your works infected me (passing it some of my fellows) with indwell idea of creating a Nerco-table of my own β€” as an opposition to the motley assortment of 40k/Mordheim terrain we use at the local club πŸ˜‰
So another question: you’de mentioned you use kitchen tiles for sector bases β€” what exactly are those? As I understand these are ceramic β€” aren’t they heavy or breakable? Anyways thinking about modular terrain I was looking for bases that will be perfectly same size rather than sawing or cutting them myself as it will either be too labour/time-consuming or imperfect which will lead to bad connections.

      • I’m honoured!!! Many thanks to you for your response πŸ˜€

Yes, I use some ceramic floor tiles. They are a bit heavy but this is really an advantage. The buildings won’t fall due to clumsy players which could be a problem with so dense terrain. The other good thing is that they are very durable, no deforming or wobbling at all and you don’t need to care about exact cuts. The tiles I use are 33×33 cm but the perfect size would probably be one by one foot. Looking forward to follow your work!

        Cheers

  5. Wow this is simply staggering! I would kill to have a game on a table of that quality! This really takes me back to my childhood, but brings the scummy, urban nature of the underhive bang up to date.
Lovely Delaque Ganges too – are they converted? They look like how I imagine Necromunda models would be if they were sculpted by Infinity.
    Love your work!

    • Much appreciated feedbak technasma! It’s always fun to bring people’s childhood back in this sense πŸ™‚

The Delaque models are from Heresy. Former GW sculptor i think. Truly recommend it!
